Heritage Fire by Cochon 555, a hyper-local, whole animal, live-fire, outdoor food and wine event, features “3,500 pounds of fire-kissed meat.” Created in 2008, Heritage Fire Napa is a showcase over 50 notable chefs and butchers, each grilling heritage-breed animals en plein air against a stunning vineyard backdrop. The event features responsibly raised food and traditional outdoor cooking inspired by global food cultures. It is all paired with free-flowing wines from boutique producers, craft beers, and small-batch artisan ciders. The list of heritage and heirloom foods includes dry-aged beef, whole pigs, lamb, goat, squab, rabbit, duck, fish, chicken, artisan cheeses, oysters and heirloom vegetables.

Calistoga Harvest Table® is set for Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 in celebration of a plentiful harvest season. Over a dozen local restaurants and 40-plus wineries will welcome visitors and locals to 1,000 feet of tables in the center of the city’s picturesque downtown. Calistoga AVA wines will be the focus of a 4:30 p.m. social hour open to the public. When you hear the dinner bell at 6:00 p.m., those holding a ticket will be seated at the table for an unparalleled culinary experience.
Tickets for the fifth annual Calistoga Harvest Table® will go on sale on Monday, July 16 at noontime PDT. Save the date, as tickets traditionally sell fast!

Striking the delicate balance between timeless luxury and innovative culinary, Bardessono’s Lucy restaurant will present a Chocolate Pairing Dinner, in collaboration with Kollar Chocolates and B Cellars, for a decadent take on the traditional pairing experience. Tying into the early influence of chocolate as a bitter companion rather than a sugary treat in its South America roots, the four-course menu will introduce savory selections of thoughtfully designed dishes before transitioning into a tasty treat to top off the evening. Each chocolate-inspired dish will have an expertly paired wine available for an optimized palate.
Set for its debut on Thursday, November 8, 2018, the Chocolate Pairing Dinner will take place at Bardessono’s Lucy restaurant, beginning with a chocolate cocktail reception at 7 p.m. and proceeding with the 4-course pairing dinner, with presentation by Executive Chef Nate Lindsay and Artisan Chocolatier Chef Chris Kollar.
